\"\"<\/a>We could not have picked a better day to visit the beautiful city of Cambridge – a world renowned university town, steeped in rich history and prestige. \u00a0\u00a0The cobblestone streets are lined with beautiful architecture and quaint churches dating back to the year AD 1,000. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The River Cam traverses through the University of Cambridge and during the summer, you can journey down the river, partaking in an activity known as punting. \u00a0We joined a punting tour group that paddled through the most picturesque areas of the university. \u00a0The tour was both engaging and informative.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The next part of our tour brought us to King\u2019s College, one of the thirty one agglomerate of colleges at Cambridge University. \u00a0At the King\u2019s College Chapel, our Yoder students engaged in an interesting lesson about neo-gothic architecture. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After a brisk stroll around town, we enjoyed some free time. \u00a0A few of us wandered over to Cafe Nero for some coffee and refreshments, while others took the time to purchase souvenirs and gifts for family and friends. The children enjoyed a wonderful day trip to Cambridge. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
