followed by a 20 minute break in the morning and \u00a0a 40 minute lunch break. \u00a0All students are promptly dismissed from school at 3pm. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One unique difference between schooling in both countries is the cohort concept. \u00a0In Taiwan, students remain in the same homeroom with the same classmates throughout middle school and high school. \u00a0In contrast, students in the UK have their own individual schedules. \u00a0Every class consists of a different set of students. \u00a0While there are merits in both structures, it is interesting for the Yoderlings to experience a contrasting educational system. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yoderedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_9405.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6712\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yoderedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_9405-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yoderedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_9405-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.yoderedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_9405.jpg 549w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>Throughout the day, our Yoder students scurried from class to class, experiencing what it feels like to be a \u201creal\u201d British student. \u00a0Some of the classes our students participated in today included: Spanish, Geography, Math, Science, Home Economics, PE, Citizenship, and Computing. \u00a0Dino, in particular, mentioned how simple Math class is compared to Taiwan. \u00a0Brian especially enjoyed baking a pie during Home Economics, while Chloe was ecstatic when she shared her experience playing cricket during PE. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All in all, our Yoder students enjoyed a fruitful day at Chessington Community College. \u00a0I am so proud of how well they have acclimated to an unfamiliar environment and their willingness to open their hearts to new experiences. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u300b<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/photos\/u9bdTk5BgaWZ3wUA8\">\u6d3b\u52d5\u7167\u7247<\/a>\u300a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u300b\u6d3b\u52d5\u7167\u7247\u300a On the third day of Yoder\u2019s summer camp in London, our students became more familiar with both their buddies and Britain\u2019s education system. \u00a0At Chessington Community College, classes commence at 8:30am &#8211;
