Dear Yoder Families,<\/span>
\n Welcome back to an exciting new year! The staff and students at Yoder Bilingual Academy are delighted to kick off the school year by introducing our newly designed reading incentive program, \u201cGotta Read \u2018em All!\u201d We have implemented a\u00a0Pokemon theme to encourage students to read extensively at\u00a0home and during their free time throughout the school year.\u00a0Our goal is to create lifelong readers.\"s__9068587\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Grade level teachers will establish reading goals for individual students. The goals will be based on the number of minutes read at home. For the youngest reader just learning to read, initial goals can be based on the number of minutes read to<\/span>
\n them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Reading Program is a community project that involves all\u00a0staff, students, and parents. We cannot run a successful program\u00a0without the support of the parents, as you are your\u00a0child\u2019s most important role model. Please encourage your\u00a0children to read at home, read to them and with them, and let\u00a0them know you value reading as an important lifelong skill and\u00a0pleasurable activity.<\/span>
